Poem
Well game night was a blast!!!!! Everyone had so much fun! Band Hero is a super fun party game (even though I don't like singing in front of people).
And the movie was AMAZING. Truly inspiring. It is rated PG13 (adult situation, teen suicide) but otherwise an incredible movie about how God can use us, even though we are flawed and broken, to make a huge impact for Him in the world around us. I highly recommend "To Save A Life".
I also wrote a poem inspired by the movie and what my youth pastor talked about last week. So many people are crying out for love and acceptance, yet we judged and isolate them. I pray that God will use me to be a light in someone's life. To show someone the everlasting hope that heals the deepest scars.

Do you see me?
Do you see the hurt in my eyes?
You walk by me everyday but you see right through me
Sometimes you smile at me, or wave but I know you don’t really care
It’s just a pity party that I do not want to be a part of

I look, talk, and think differently

I’m not as pretty, popular, or athletic
Why does that make me unapproachable, scary, weird?

I’m dying for someone to love me, value me, to be my friend
I’m looking for answers I can’t find on my own
Please help me
Tell me how you can get through the night
Tell me there’s someone out there that loves me, who wants me, who’ll take me under His wing and comfort me

I love the poem Landis! Maybe you should put it to music... change that. You should definitely put it to music.
