Yesterday was my first day of the new semester at MAFA! I'm so glad we're back! I really missed all the people, teachers, and classes. I'm taking Drama, A Mark Twain Scrapbooking Journey, and History. In drama we read over some of the scenes from the play we're doing. I think this play is going to be very funny! Hopefully, me and Emily will get good parts. The Mark Twain Class is all about his life and adventures. He loved scrapbooking because he traveled so much and wanted to remember all of his fantastic journeys. This week we talked about how he was the celebrity of his day. Twain vehemently hated interviews and always replied with the quirkiest and weirdest statements. I love his quotes! They are so random!
In history we talked about cowboys, which was pretty interesting. Their lives were mostly herding cattle, sleeping under the stars, and smelling cow pies; hardly ever did the crazy adventures we think of when we think about cowboys actually happen.
