I drew the Empire State building. I hope it's an accurate likeness.

The skylines I cut out made a nice backdrop. I made the mask at Shakespeare camp, the gloves are from a dance costume, and my ipod supplied the New York music.

We had a wonderful time! We all arrived at the roller rink and were ready to skate! I helped two of my friends skate cause they had never done it before but they didn't fall! Oh well actually one did. And Emily fell on the carpet but that doesn't count. We had a blast! Then we went home and ate our fondue. We were served by my mother and two of my friend's mothers. Coke became La Coca de Cola, Sprite was El Sprit, and water was Oh. Then we played this awesome game where there was multiple items of clothing in a bag and one person from each team would go over and take one item and put it on. Then they would pass that item to the next person and that person would get another item, etc. We went crazy! Everyone was screaming and hollering and running all over the place! Then we changed into "New York" attire and did makeovers. I got wonderful gifts from all my friends! But the best part was all the sweet things my friends wrote in the cards!

Well, this birthday is just about to wrap up. Tomorrow life continues on. Please pray that the spacers don't hurt! Thanks!
